Marc Cayeux to be missed again

Marc Cayeux, a former top Zimbabwe professional, will miss his third Zimbabwe Open as he is still recovering from injuries sustained in a road accident in 2010.

The highly-rated golfer, tipped to be the next big thing in local golf, has not played since the accident.
Cayeux is no longer using a wheelchair for his movement but is now supported by crutches.

He was injured in a horrific accident in Mvuma on September 24, 2010, when his vehicle collided with a police car on the Harare/Masvingo highway.Cayeux broke his ankle, right knee and the right femur was dislocated.

But he has been making steady, but not spectacular, recovery and will, sadly, miss the Zimbabwe Open.

Meanwhile, two Zimbabwe professional golfers, Greg Bentley and Micky Hough, have entered the Big Easy Tour tournament set for Roodepoort Country Club this weekend.

Bentley promised to participate in more events this year. The event has attracted 46 entries.
