March 2026 HEXCO results out

THE Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released Industrial Training and Trade Test Theory Examination results for the March 2026 session, with candidates recording a national pass rate of 75 percent.

In a statement, Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Professor Fanuel Tagwira said the results reflected continued progress in strengthening Zimbabwe’s technical and vocational education and training system.

Prof Tagwira commended all stakeholders involved in administering the examinations, saying their commitment contributed to the smooth conduct of the assessment process and the improved national performance.

“The contribution of all stakeholders towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 75 percent pass rate,” he said.

He said candidates who sat for the examinations can begin collecting their results from their respective regional centres with effect from May 11, 2026.

Prof Tagwira said the ministry appreciated the continued support from examination administrators, training institutions and invigilators in maintaining standards within the national examinations framework.
