Market falls for tenth consecutive day
THE market fell for the tenth consecutive day, dragged lower by losses in Delta and Econet. The Industrial Index shed 0.65 percent to close at 163 points, while the Mining Index remained unchanged at 64.51 points. Cafca led the risers, up 8.7 percent to close at 50c, followed by Afdis which gained 4.55 percent to close at 46c.

Padenga added 2.3 percent to close at 8.9c. Powerspeed led the losers, down 14.36 percent to close at 1.55c. Pearl fell to 2.8c, down 6.67 percent, Econet eased up another cent to close at 59c, a fall of 1.2 percent.

Delta lost 1.67 percent to close at 107.69c. Volumes were supported mainly through trades in Delta and Econet, and came in at just over $686K. – Lynton- Edwards stockbrokers.
