Marondera bus operator laid to rest

Marondera bus operator Mr John Kwadi Chirunga who died in China three weeks ago has been laid to rest at Glensomas Cemetery in Marondera.
Mr Chirunga of Chirunga Bus Service reportedly died after a short illness when he had gone to buy another bus to add to his fleet.

He was 45.

Speaking at the burial, family spokesperson and a brother to the deceased Mr David Chirunga described him as a caring and loving man.

“We are saddened by my brother’s death. He was a caring brother,” he said.

UMAA Institute founder and educationist Dr Cleopas Kundiona described Mr Chirunga as a good friend and a reliable businessman.

“Whenever I needed transport to ferry my pupils he would respond quickly. He was a good friend,” he said.
