Marondera Elmswood fraud suspects denied bail

Marondera Magistrate Mr Christian Chikengezha has denied bail to five individuals who defrauded home seekers of US$200 000.The five, Tafira Makochekanwa, Special Magirazi, Tinodaishe Muraicho (22), Tichaona Murundo (40) and Farai Nyandoro (50) are facing fraud charges.
Mr Chikengezha remanded the suspects in custody to September 17, 2024.

The suspects were arrested by officers from the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
