WARRIORS international Shane Maroodza has been released by Irish second-tier club Kerry FC just four days after joining the team.

Maroodza, a former Huddersfield Town Academy player, was unveiled at Kerry FC over the past weekend after signing on a free transfer.

However, he was released just a few days later, having made only one appearance in a league match.

The 21-year-old defender will now return to England, where he was previously based.

Kerry FC announced Maroodza’s departure in a post on X:
“Mathyas Randriamamy and Shane Maroodza have been released from Kerry FC. Unfortunately, their values and principles didn’t match the standards of the club.”
