adminBeyonce has sought to quash rumours of a rift between her and her rapper husband Jay Z by taking to Instagram to show her commitment to the troubled relationship.
The pop superstar posted a photo of her in a Brooklyn Nets jersey emblazoned with Carter — Jay Z’s last name — on the social media site. There has been speculation that the glamour couple may split up, including reports that the pair were staying in separate hotel rooms throughout their lucrative tour.
Earlier this year, the “On the Run” tour, estimated to net the pair US$100 million, was rocked by vision of Beyonce’s sister Solange attacking Jay-Z inside a hotel elevator.
A source from the tour told the New York Post that the pair may break up for the tour’s finale in Paris in August.
The North American leg of the “On the Run” tour finished in San Francisco on Wednesday.
Rumours have also swirled that the relationship’s ups and downs could all be for show, with HBO shooting a behind-the-scenes documentary throughout the tour.
HBO lawyers and tour managers have reportedly been in crisis meetings with the couple throughout the tour. — The Age.com
