A MARRIED man from Bulawayo allegedly kidnapped his ex-lover, assaulted her and forced her to suck his manhood at knife point. Thabani Ncube (39), a father of two, was allegedly miffed that his ex-lover Sinqobizitha Ndlovu (35) was chatting with a male friend on WhatsApp, a court heard. The court heard that he could not stomach a break up that had been suggested by his lover.
Ncube appeared before Western Commonage Magistrate Miss Tancy Dube facing a charge of unlawful detention.
He was not asked to plead and remanded in custody to July 29. Prosecuting, Miss Magret Takawira told the court that Ncube went to Ndlovu’s house and asked her to escort him to Ashy’s garage in Nkulumane.“From Ashy’s garage, the accused person drove along Solusi Road where he parked at an open space. Complainant asked to be released so she could go home but he refused.
‘‘He ordered her to suck his manhood. He said if she refused, she would have to repay all the money he spent on her when she was still his girlfriend.” said Ms Takawira. In her warned and cautioned statement, Ndlovu stated that Ncube tied a cord he took from the car round her neck, swearing to kill her.
“He tied my neck with a cord and held an okapi knife to my throat threatening to kill me. He forced me to suck his manhood several times.
“He also took my phone and scrolled through my WhatsApp messages,” read the statement.
“He assaulted me for chatting with a male friend and drove to his place where he insulted my friend accusing him of having an affair with me. I then asked him to take me home so that I could get a jacket and that was how I escaped.”
