ONE in, one out!

That seams to be the modus operandi in the MTN Premier League of Swaziland after a raft of coaching changes swept through in the opening half month of the new year.

What became Green Mambaas a?poisona?, Hebert Maruwa, has become Mbabane Highlandersa fresh piece of meat as Sihlanguas a?poisona? Harries Madze Bulunga replaced him at the Correctional Services outfit.

Green Mamba sacked the Zimbabwe-born Maruwa following a series of heartbreaking results in recent weeks.

Having conducted a complete overhaul of the management committee, suspended players and reinforced the technical department, the Correctional Services outfit on Wednesday felt Maruwa had to go.

Maruwa confirmed his departure after a year which saw him take charge of 36 competitive matches since being elevated after the dismissal of Rodwell Dhlakama in December 2015.

a?Yes, we have parted ways as results were no longer positive. In life we meet to part and part to meet. I enjoyed my stay at Green Mamba, learnt a lot and will always cherish my stay, especially taking them to the Swazi Bank final.

a?For now I will entertain offers from both Swaziland and Zimbabwe as part of my future,a? said Maruwa who rose into coaching as part of Calisto Pasuwaas backroom staff at Dynamos.

He also coached Hartley Academy which almost won the 2015 Eastern Region Division One.

It was then that he moved to Swaziland as Dhlakamaas assistant.

In 36 matches he won 19, lost 11, drew 6, scoring 49 goals and conceding 26.

As per every such soccer development, rumours started flying around linking him to a move to Mbabane Highlanders and Red Lions.

At that time, it looked all set for Wilson Mutekede to take over at Mbabane Highlanders with the management committee having approved the appointment only to be vetoed by the board of directors citing lack of experience.

That paved way for Maruwa to sneak into the picture and eventually append his signature on the dotted line on Tuesday morning becoming the new Mbabane Highlanders coach.
