In Zimbabwe, the day is commemorated in all provinces, marked with marches and public addresses by Government officials.

In Mashonaland East province, the march started well this morning with thousands marching across Mutoko Centre denouncing the sanctions.

The march was led by the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland East Dr Aplonia Munzverengwi.
