state-of-the-art lodge here, and a Harare firm Pronet Cellular, will pay Masomere’s salary for the next three months.
Pote will be paying the bigger chunk.
“I brokered the deal and I am going to be paying his salary. I want Shabanie Mine and FC Platinum to remain in the league,” said Pote.
“I am ready to assist any of the teams if the need arises.
“Masomere comes from Chivi, which is also my rural home, and I want to see him doing well in his soccer career.
“I want to assure all the Shabanie Mine fans that the coach will be with Shabanie Mine until the end of the season.”
Masomere, who switched on his mobile phone for the first time since Friday, was a happy man after penning the deal which will make him one of the best paid coaches in the Premiership.
“Something happened today and I am still here until the end of the season and I am no longer going to Buffaloes,” said Masomere.
“I have now signed a contract and, legally, I am a coach for Shabanie Mine until the end of the season.
“I am here.
I love the club and the club and its fans love me too. I want everyone to do his best to achieve the desired results.
“I will continue to work hard and the sky will be the limit as I am looking forward to finish in the top eight or do even much better and probably finish the season on top of the teams which are on top of my team.”
Masomere was represented by his lawyer Tichaona Chivasa of Chivasa & Associates.
The law firm also represented him during his fight to clear his name in the Asiagate hearings.
