MASTERING the art of saying “no” involves learning to prioritise your own needs, goals and well-being while setting boundaries.
It’s about recognising when you are overcommitted, feeling stressed or making choices that don’t align with your priorities and

then respectfully declining requests that don’t serve your best interests.

Why Saying “No” is important

How to master the art of saying “No”

3. Be direct and polite:

When saying “no,” be clear and straightforward about your refusal, while maintaining a polite and respectful tone.

Offer a brief and concise reason for your refusal, if appropriate.

5. Consider alternatives:

If possible, suggest alternative options or resources to the person making the request.

6. Focus on the “Yes”:

Instead of dwelling on the “no,” focus on the reasons why you’re saying yes to other important tasks and opportunities.
