ZIMBABWE international Tawanda Maswanhise is making serious waves in Scotland after being crowned G4 Claims Player of the Month for July, thanks to a sizzling spell in front of goal for Motherwell.

The 22-year-old forward was in red-hot form, bagging four goals in four games, including back-to-back braces against Clyde and Morton in the Scottish League Cup group stages.

His heroics helped Motherwell sail through the group, and fans are now buzzing with hope as the league campaign kicks off.

“Thank you for voting me Player of the Month and for your support,” said Maswanhise. “Hopefully, there will be many more awards to come.”

The Warriors star’s explosive start has not only turned heads at club level, but also reignited excitement among local fans who believe Maswanhise could become Zimbabwe’s next big thing on the international stage.
