Matter of fact

IN The Chronicle edition of December 11, 2018, we quoted a Law Society of Zimbabwe (LSZ) report saying “Mhiribidi” law firm was placed under curatorship.

The LSZ has since advised that the Mhiribidi mentioned in its Compensation Report is the late Daniel Wapepuka Mhiribidi whose Harare law firm was placed under curatorship and not Bulawayo lawyer Mr David Mhiribidi of Mhiribidi, Mutuso and Taruvinga law firm.

Mr David Mhiribidi or Mhiribidi, Mutuso and Taruvinga law firm were never put under curatorship as they are in good standing.

We apologise for any inconveniences that may have been caused to Mr David Mhiribidi or Mhiribidi, Mutuso and Taruvinga law firm by the said report. — Editor.
