Matter of Fact. . .

On September 10, 2021, our sister paper Business Weekly published a story headlined DIDG “hopeful” of an agreement with NRZ quoting Muza & Nyapadi Legal Practitioners saying “there are behind the scene negotiations and the instruction I have is to hold on to the lawsuit. In the event they agree, they won’t be need to proceed with court battles.”

This relates to negotiations between DIDG and NRZ seeking an out of court settlement after DIDG, a company, which won the tender to help revive NRZ sued the Government for cancelling the deal. Muza and Nyapadi are disowning the statement, which was also published in The Herald Business Section on September 13, 2021, saying they only confirmed to be holding on to the file pending further instructions. We sincerely regret inconveniences this might have caused to all parties involved. — Editor.
