Mavhaire in car accident

that Cde Mavhaire’s car had collided with another resulting in the death of an unconfirmed number of people.
“I received a call at around 7pm this evening informing me of the unfortunate accident.
“I hear he suffered injuries on one of his legs and had a broken arm.

“He was travelling from the special Politburo meeting held on Monday in Harare to Masvingo.
“I understand his car collided with another near Chivhu,” said Cde Zvobgo (Jnr).

He said there were reports that passengers from the other car had died but he said he could not confirm the number of the dead.
Cde Mavhaire’s mobile number was not being answered when The Herald tried to contact him late last night.
Efforts to get a comment from police were unsuccessful.
