May was hard for Bosso

BULAWAYO football giants, Highlanders, had an unforgettable month of May that saw them fail to post a single win, drawing four times and losing once in the five games that were played in the month under review.

A total of five matches were played before the country’s elite football league took a three-week break that ends on June 21.

The break is meant to accommodate the upcoming Fifa World Cup Qualifiers and Cosafa (senior) Men’s Competition in South Africa. The Cosafa competition is expected to start soon after the World Cup qualifiers. Bosso are on a rebuilding exercise and in the 14 rounds of play that have been played so far, they have managed to amass 22 points, seven behind log leaders Manica Diamonds.

May was a month in which FC Platinum went on an impressive run that saw them post four wins and draw one match. They accounted for Dynamos Highlanders, Hwange and Greenfuel. Pure Platinum Play were held to a one-all draw by Yadah Stars.
