DYNAMOS captain Augustine Mbara believes they still have a chance to challenge for the league championship as long as they win all their remaining games, including the Harare Derby, at Rufaro on Sunday. The skipper will return to lead his troops when they face bitter rivals CAPS United.
Mbara missed several matches in the second half of the season due to injury but will return for the crucial encounter.
“I think we are prepared for the big game and if we remain focused they will come up with a good result. We need to win the game and playing CAPS United is interesting so we will have to play our best game,” said Mbara. “The race for the Premiership is still open and we need to stay focused.
“Our opponents have been performing well but we will not read too much into that. “When I got injured the guys who came in did well so it will be the same scenario.”
Rodreck Mutuma faces the team that he played for in the first half of the season before returning to the Glamour Boys.
“It will be good to face CAPS United and I am looking forward to the game as we need to win and keep our chances alive,” said Mutuma.
“Facing CAPS United will not come with any pressure as I have always been in such situations so I will try to do my best.
“Our aim is to collect maximum points at all cost and Dynamos is a big club and so is CAPS United and we will play as a team hoping to get a positive result.”
