Emerging from the heart of Lobengula West, Bulawayo, Perfect Nkanyiso Mudumi, known in music circles as Peezet Samfana, is fast carving a name for himself in the Kwaito and Amapiano genres.

With six tracks under his belt, including standout singles like Dear Love, More Fire, and Twecka, the artiste is proving that consistency and street-savvy hustle can cut through the noise of the competitive music industry.

But 2025 marks a fresh chapter for Samfana. In a bold move, he has teamed up with dynamic dancer, TikToker, and singer Michelle Chenjera, popularly known as Dynamite ZW, to form a powerful duo: Samfana Dynamite.
“I’m no longer moving solo,” Peezet said.

“Michelle came in when I was searching for a female vocalist, and the chemistry was instant. Our first track, Good Vibes, produced by King Shezzi, blew up, and from there, we decided to solidify the partnership.”

Their collaboration has breathed new life into Peezet’s musical journey, with Dynamite’s dance-driven content giving the duo a boost across digital platforms. Their latest single, Achu, a catchy Amapiano track featuring King Shezzi, is already gaining momentum on TikTok, thanks to Dynamite’s viral dance challenge.
“We’re officially dropping Achu on the 17th of this month. There’s been a crazy demand for the full track, and we’re also working on an EP that we’ll release this coming summer,” he said.

Despite his steady progress, Peezet remains candid about the challenges of being an up-and-coming artiste in Zimbabwe’s music industry.
“Airplay and gigs are a real struggle. Sometimes, it’s less about the talent and more about who you know or how much you’re willing to pay. I’ve faced that myself. That’s why I’ve turned my focus to pushing my music on social media and in the streets. I believe in staying consistent, my time will come.”
