Mega birthday bash for Magacha

Award winning gospel musician, Sebastian Magacha has lined up a mega belated birthday bash dubbed “Seba @30” to be held at the Aquatic Complex this Saturday.
The celebrations that double as a family show will see heavyweights Suluman Chimbetu, Shinsoman, and Leonard Zhakata taking turns to entertain fans.

The “Bhosvo” hitmaker said he roped in artistes from different genres to spice up the line up.

“I am a gospel artiste but I have a lot of friends from different genres that is why l chose them to be part of the celebrations. This is a family thing and I am encouraging my fans to come in their numbers and celebrate with me,” he said.

Magacha, who was born on May 10 1984, said he failed to celebrate his birthday in May due to other pressing commitments.

“I was tied up and I could not make it in May but all the same we thought it proper to have something for my fans,” he said.

He encouraged fans who celebrate their birthdays on the same day to bring their cakes and share.

“There will be a cake that I will share with those that will attend the show at the same time for those who share the birthday with me should bring along their own cakes as we celebrate life,” he said.

Other artistes who will take to the stage include ZimPraise Choir, Fungisai Zvakavapano Mashavave, Mathias Mhere, Flem B, Pastor G, Vabati vaJehovah, Takesure Zamah and the Worship Addicts among others.

Recently, Magacha successfully recorded a 39–track live DVD album at the 7 Arts Theatre.

The musician has joined other artistes like Leonard Zhakata who have celebrated their birthdays in a big way.

Their duet, “Kwekuturira”, currently has been topping Star Fm’s Gospel Greats.
