GOSPEL musicians, Mathias Mhere and Ellard Cherayi, are set to headline a revival crusade aimed at luring lost souls, including drug addicts, to the gospel of Christ.
The event, running under the theme, ‘Show me Heaven,’ will be held at Unit L Grounds in Seke, Chitungwiza, from April 18 to 20.

It is led by Pastor Tafadzwa Macheka of the United Ambassadors of Christ Church, and other stakeholders.
In January, the church launched an anti-drug abuse campaign called “Save the Next Generation,” which was aimed at combating drug abuse and substance addiction.
Pastor Macheka said:
“We are going to have musical performances from Mathias Mhere, Minister Ellard and Sharon Cherayi, Tapiwa Masara and United Ambassadors of Christ Praise Team.
“Musicians will come to offer praise and worship.
“Our special guest speaker will be Apostle B Java.
“The main agenda of the revival is transformational messages along prayerline, healing, prophecy and deliverance.”
He added:
“We are trying to bring restoration and hope to lost souls because our main aim is to preach about Jesus and win souls for the kingdom.
“In Chitungwiza, we have seen many parents seeking help for their children who are into drugs.
“We have been seeing a lot of young boys, some of them under the age of 15, taking drugs.”
