THE Midwest Rhinos will face Mashonaland Eagles in the final of the Pro50 Championship cricket tournament after beating Southern Rocks by 58 runs under the Duckworth Lewis method at Kwekwe Sports Club yesterday.
The teams had gone into the final day tied on eight points making the match a decider.
With the victory, Rhinos ended the group phase in second place with 10 points from eight matches while Rocks were third on eight points, outgoing champions Mountaineers fourth on six points while the Tuskers are bottom on two points. The Mountaineers beat Tuskers by four wickets with 61 balls to spare at Queens Sports Club chasing 260. Eagles versus Rhinos will be at Harare Sports Club.
