The equipment that was procured using devolution funds comprised of a borehole-drilling rig, a backhoe loader, a water bowser and a grader.
Dr Munzverengwi also handed over 22 motorbikes to Mudzi RDC councillors for easy mobility as they execute their duties across their respective wards.
“We thank President Mnangagwa for the devolution funds,” she said.
“Today we are officially commissioning equipment bought using devolution funds. This will improve service delivery across Mudzi.
“We have a borehole drilling rig here. I am told council has already drilled 100 boreholes and people now have access to clean water. We are also commissioning equipment that will be used to rehabilitate roads.
“As for the motorbikes, these will go a long way in easing mobility for councillors. This is the work of the Second Republic. Quality service delivery is being prioritised. I call upon councillors to take good care of these motorbikes and ensure that they last long,” said the Minister.
