Minister Muswere tours Zimpapers’ digital-first newsroom

Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere has just toured the Zimpapers integrated newsroom at Herald House.

Dr Muswere was taken through the operations of the converged multimedia set-up.

He moved through the various desks for print, digital, radio and television, interacting with staff as they demonstrated how the unified, technology-driven newsroom enhances coordination and speeds up the production of real-time news.

The Minister was accompanied on the tour by Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Omphile Marupi; Permanent Secretary Mr Nick Mangwana, members of the Zimpapers board, senior management, editors, and Government officials.

The tour showcased Zimpapers’ shift towards a modern, efficient, and fully integrated news ecosystem designed to strengthen its role as Zimbabwe’s leading source of credible information.
