Minister shares stage with Jah Prayzah

The Minister was one of the fans, who had thronged Club Royal to witness the Gochi Gochi hit maker in action.

The much-awaited gig started at around 8pm and it was curtain raised by two local groups who included Exotic and Rhumba Vibes.

Jah Prayzah later got on stage at around 10 pm and he kicked started his show by playing his famous song titled Sungano.

Fans started screaming while others whistled in excitement as their music icon stepped onto the stage and within a short period of time it was men at work as they started dancing to the famous tune that has dominated different local radio stations.

The up and coming musician managed to keep his fans on their feet as his energetic band exhibited a well polished act. The 3rd Generation band exhibited some breath taking military kind of dances that left everyone present asking for more.

When Jah Prayzah discovered that minister Shamu had graced the show, he could not hide his excitement as he invited him on stage to help him sing his second song for the night titled Ngwarira Kuparara.

The honourable Minister did not disappoint as he quickly got along and became part of the singing and dancing to the song that educates people on the deadly HIV/Aids pandemic.

Fans could not help but take advantage of the Minister’s presence on stage to shake hands with him.

A fan that identified himself as Tawanda Choga  said it was a great honour to meet the Minister at such an event.

“The surprise visit by the Minister tonight shows that he has got confidence in our up and coming talent.

“This is going to help in building our talent out there that still needs support of this nature,” he said.
Soon after the performance with the minister Jah Prayzah threw another successful hit Gochi Gochi  that has made him popular with Zimbabwean music  fans.

The musician took this opportunity to present his new band member Chris Oswell a saxophonist who is originally from the United Kingdom.

Oswell was given an opportunity to play alone  Gochi Gochi with his saxophone after having joined the band three weeks ago.

While Oswell was playing his saxophone some fans could be heard singing along a sign that the new acquisition had managed to fit into the band with his new instrument.

Jah Prayzah later played some of the songs that would be part of his forthcoming album and these include Cecilia.

The musician ended his gig by playing another successful song titled mai Maria and all the fans were on their feet.
