Sikhumbuzo Moyo
MATABELELAND North Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution Richard Moyo has urged the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development to prioritise the rehabilitation of the badly damaged Bulawayo-Tsholotsho next year.

Minister Moyo said the 104km road was so bad that vehicular trafffic, including Public Service vehicles, were now opting to go to Tsholotsho using the Solusi route and in the process businesses and the public along the Bulawayo Tsholotsho road were having supply and travelling challenges.
Speaking at the 30km peg along the Bulawayo -Victoria Falls road during the media tour organised by the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) meant to accord the media an appreciation of the road work, Minister Moyo said two reputable contractors can be given the tender to do the works.
“We appreciate the works that is being done at the Bulawayo Nkayi road where two contractors have been deployed. Great work is happening there and we want to thank President Mnangagwa for that. We want to say to the transport Ministry, make rehabilitation of the Bulawayo-Tsholotsho road your top road project in Matabeleland North next year,” said Minister Moyo.
Recently accorded town status by the Ministry of Local Government and Public Works, Tsholotsho business centre is rapidly expanding both in terms of residential house and business growth and a good road network presents a good atmosphere for ease of doing business.
