Ministers tour Parirenyatwa to assess refurbishments

THE Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr Douglas Mombeshora, today conducted an inspection tour of Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare to evaluate the ongoing Government-led refurbishment of the key public health centre.

Dr Mombeshora was accompanied by the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Dr Jenfan Muswere, along with Permanent Secretaries Dr Aspect Maunganidze (Health) and Mr Nick Mangwana (Information).

The delegation inspected the renovations at the Mbuya Nehanda Maternity Home, which is being transformed into a state-of-the-art facility.

They also reviewed progress on the trainee nurses’ residence, also undergoing significant upgrades.

The visit follows President Mnangagwa’s recent tour of major referral hospitals in Harare, underscoring the Government’s commitment to upgrading the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
