Ministry of Justice joins Zimbabwe in commemorating Robert Mugabe National Youth Day, recognising the contributions of the country’s youth

THE Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs has joined President Mnangagwa and Zimbabwe in commemorating Robert Mugabe National Youth Day saying it is recognising and honouring the invaluable contributions of the country’s youth.

In a statement, Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi, Deputy Minister Nobert Mazungunye, Permanent Secretary Mrs Vimbai Nyemba, Chief Director, Directors and Staff said today is a day to celebrate the energy, passion, and endless potential of our young citizens.

“Their inspiration, dedication, and commitment to making a difference is highly commendable.

“The Ministry recognises the importance of empowering and nurturing our youth and urges all young citizens to desist from drug and substance abuse, cyberbullying, and early teenage pregnancies,” said the statement.

The Ministry said they remain committed to ensuring that the rights and interests of the youth are protected and their voices are heard.

We believe in their ability to drive positive change and build a better future for all. As we celebrate this day, let us remember that brick by brick, stone upon stone, the youth are equally valuable in building our own nation. We uphold, develop and provide accessible, efficient and effective justice delivery,” read the statement.
