Ministry to host public lecture on CAB3 at Nust

THE Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services will on Friday convene a public lecture on the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 at the National University of Science and Technology (Nust) in Bulawayo, as part of efforts to enhance public understanding and engagement on the proposed constitutional changes.

The lecture, which is scheduled to begin at 10am, will be delivered by renowned political science scholar Richard Mahomva, who is expected to unpack the key aspects of the proposed amendment and engage participants in discussions around its implications.

The event is set to provide a platform for students, academics, policymakers and members of the public to interact and exchange views on the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Mr Nick Mangwana, announced the lecture on his X account, encouraging members of the public to attend and participate.

“Let’s talk about it. Let’s learn about it. Let’s give feedback on it. @richardrmahomva will be delivering his take and taking your questions as well as engaging in panel discussions,” posted Mr Mangwana.

The public lecture is expected to attract broad interest from stakeholders keen to better understand the proposed constitutional amendment.
