Reigning Queen for Miss Ecotourism Zimbabwe 2023 Boitshepo Shumba has been stripped of her contract with Bulawayo-based Trust Models Academy with the organisation not giving a reason.
Shumba (20) who just completed a degree in Information Technology at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) was crowned during the Miss and Teen Ecotourism Zimbabwe Grand Coronation Night which was held on April 1 at The Academy of Music in Bulawayo.
In a brief statement posted on Instagram, Truth Models Academy said Shumba has also been stripped of being their brand ambassador.
“We would like to let the public know that the current Miss Truth Models Academy and brand ambassador (Boitshepo Shumba) has been stripped of her duties with immediate effect due to issues beyond our control. We have also terminated her contract meaning she is no longer associated with the academy,” said the management.
“We are disheartened by having to come to such measures. we wish nothing but the best for the rest of her endeavours.”
