Caroline Murinda, the Miss Zimbabwe winner in 1982, has died.
She died Wednesday afternoon at a South African hospital, where she had been receiving treatment.
She was 65.
Family spokesperson, Michelle Mukunda confirmed the news, stating, “She died today after being hospitalised in South Africa.
“She was staying there with her family, and we are still awaiting further details regarding her burial.”
Mukunda added:
“The elders are currently deliberating on her burial arrangements, and I will provide you with more information once it becomes available.”
Murinda is survived by two children.
