Given Flint Matapure went missing on Monday last week while attending the show with his 15-year-old sister, Grace and the family maid at the Exhibition Park.
His mother Ms Wengesai Diki said contrary to reports that the boy had been found, they were still searching for him.
She said the family was prepared to meet any demands from the person who might be holding on to their son.
“If there is anyone holding on to Given we are pleading that he brings him back to us. We will not press any charges against him and we are prepared to meet any demands.
“We are praying that God will re-unite us with our child.
“We are asking anyone who knows his whereabouts to inform us and we will reward him,” she said.
She said the family was prepared to face anything now that the boy has been missing for over a week.
Ms Diki said they still had hope that they will find him alive.
The boy’s mother, who has since stopped going to work in search of her son, said she was looking forward to seeing him again describing him as “just loveable”.
“Given was a lovely boy, he was just loveable and did not have any problem with anyone.
“He was intelligent and mature for his age, that is why he usually hanged around with older children,” she said.
The family has offered US$1 000 for any information leading to the whereabouts of Given.
Members of the public who may come across the toddler are requested to contact the nearest police station.
They can also contact Mr Matapure on 0772 959 650, Mrs Matapure 0772 248 697 or Tatenda on 0733 114 994.
A Harare teenage maid has appeared in court in connection with the case.
She was arrested after she allegedly called Given’s father claiming to know where he was only to fail to say where the boy was.
