Missing boys found

construction in Nyamhunga suburb where they only had a small blanket and fed on oranges dumped at a nearby market.
Takudzwa Mazarire of Hunyani section, Chinhoyi, left home on July 10, leading to several failed attempts to locate him by his parents and relatives.
He had hooked up with another 11-year-old boy — Confidence Watadza — who ran away from home in “fear” of being beaten by his brother for coming home late and failing to prepare a meal on time.
In an interview after being found              on Sunday morning, Takudzwa said            he was ready to go home because                life away from home was unbea-          rable.
Asked how he got to Kariba about 250 kilometres away from Chinhoyi, he said he boarded a haulage truck to Kariba after telling the driver that                he had no money and needed to go home.
Councillor Jessy Dzapasi, who lives on an adjacent stand, said the boys could have been sneaking into the house being constructed at night without anyone noticing them.
“I am very surprised with this development because we never knew there were children living here under such conditions,” she said.
