The toddler, Given Flint Matapure, who was in the company of his 15-year-old sister Grace and their maid went missing on August 22 at the Exhibition Park.
His whereabouts are still unknown.
The 17-year-old girl who is employed as a maid at 8353 Cold Comfort, Tynwald 3 appeared in court on Wednesday.

The State further said a search at the house did not yield any results. The girl was called again but her phone was now switched off.

The teenager allegedly phoned again the next day and told Mr Matapure to meet her at a food outlet in town.
She, however, failed to turn up for the meeting.
Police then set a trap and arrested her.
