Harare Agricultural Show claiming to know where he was.

The toddler, Given Flint Matapure, who was in the company of his 15-year-old sister Grace and their maid went missing on August 22 at the Exhibition Park.
His whereabouts are still unknown.
The 17-year-old girl who is employed as a maid at 8353 Cold Comfort, Tynwald 3 appeared in court on Wednesday.

She was not asked to plead when she appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Donald Ndirowei. The teenager was released into the custody of her uncle and is expected back in court for routine remand on September 14.

Outlining the State case, Mr David Magwegwe alleged that on August 24 the girl phoned the toddler’s father Mr Matapure saying she knew where the boy was being held.
The boy’s family, the court heard, called the girl on several occasions and she maintained that she knew where the toddler was.

The girl, the State said, directed the toddler’s family to House Number 8222 Cold Comfort, Tynwald in Harare.
The State further said a search at the house did not yield any results. The girl was called again but her phone was now switched off.

The teenager allegedly phoned again the next day and told Mr Matapure to meet her at a food outlet in town.
She, however, failed to turn up for the meeting.
Police then set a trap and arrested her.
