AXED Mighty Warriors coach Shadreck Mlauzi has dragged Zifa to court for unfair dismissal and for money owed to him by the national football mother body.
Mlauzi instructed his lawyer Prince Butshe Dube of Mathonsi Ncube Legal Practitioners to file the lawsuit against Zifa.
The lawyer is expected to file the suit by Friday.
The history making coach a who qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics and the Africa Women Cup of Nations a was dismissed by the football association at the recommendation of the High Performance Committee.
He was also instructed by Zifa to surrender a vehicle, a Toyota Hilux, given to him by Zifa benefactor Wicknell Chivayo.
Fired Warriors coach Callisto Pasuwa also received a vehicle from the same benefactor.
Mlauzi now wants Zifa to compensate him for non-payment of salaries since he took over the Mighty Warriors in September 2015, camping allowances when the team played in the Olympics and Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The coach also wants Zifa to pay him for match fees when the team played in Brazil and Cameroon respectively in the two major tournaments as well as foreign camping fees.
On unfair dismissal Mlauzi wants compensation for unlawful termination of his contract a even if the contract was not signed on paper.
Mlauzi argues that even if he did not have a signed contract with Zifa he is entitled to compensation as a contract remains binding whether it was entered into verbally or tacitly.
A tacit agreement is described as one that is inferred or entered into without being expressly stated. .
