Mlue_Jay drops third album, “UMSAPHAZI”

South Africa-based artiste Mlue_Jay has officially dropped his highly anticipated third studio album, UMSAPHAZI.

The 13-track album includes collaborations with various artistes, featuring songs like “Impumelelo” with Vusa Mkhaya, “Utshintshi” with TriggerMan, and “Busy Road” with Kayflow. Other notable tracks include “Ispani”, “Abangyeke”, “Nga Pause” featuring Lacabra, “Impilo” featuring Dough Major, “Back Off” featuring Slimpimp, “Streets” featuring Floppy X, and “About It”.

Mlue_Jay described UMSAPHAZI as a blend of artistry and resilience, reflecting his dedication to overcoming life’s obstacles.

“Life itself is the inspiration behind this album. My drive to succeed and win in every aspect of my life fuelled its creation,” he shared.

He elaborated on the album’s theme: “It’s all about winning in life. The title UMSAPHAZI represents a doer, someone who takes action and does what it takes to succeed. Each track holds a special place in my heart, and I’ve curated the album to take listeners on a journey.

“I hope they listen in the order I’ve intended to fully appreciate the story and message I’m conveying.”

The multi-award-winning artiste expressed his eagerness to connect with his audience through this new work.

“I hope to win over my audience’s hearts again with UMSAPHAZI. I’m excited for them to connect with the music, messages, and emotions I’ve poured into it.”

UMSAPHAZI is now available for streaming on all digital platforms.
