adminCHAOS broke out at Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg after the girlfriend of Skwatta Kamp’s Nkululeko “Flabba” Habedi appeared over his murder. A huge throng of people came to the court in a show of support for the slain hip-hop musician and his family.
“No bail, no bail,” the mob chanted as the woman’s family walked out of the court. Sindisiwe Manqele, 26, allegedly stabbed and killed Habedi in the early hours of Monday.
He was declared dead at his home in Alexandra after suffering a single stab wound to the heart.
Manqele showed the court a stomach wound, bruises on her body and bandages on her wrists – allegedly the result of a suicide attempt after Habedi’s death.
Manqele remains in custody and will appear in court again next week.
Outside the court the crowd surrounded the car transporting Manqele’s relatives. “Nizala ababulali (You give birth to killers),” one woman shouted.
“You’re rotten, you’re dogs, this car isn’t coming out,” she screamed as members of the mob pounded their fists on the car.
The car hit a vehicle behind it as the driver tried to escape the crowd.
“The b**** must sommer rot in jail,” a man in the crowd said. – TimesLive
