single called “Twinini”, which means a ring tone.
A video is set to be launched later this year although the song is already receiving massive airplay on local radio stations.
Jimmy Mangezi or simply Snagga Jim of Xtra Large said they had helped Leprechaun in a number of songs that will be featured on his forthcoming album.
“He is a good artiste and we have worked with him on a couple of songs including some from his forthcoming album. We also recorded a single with him on our soon to be launched album entitled ‘Large and in Charge’.
“Preparations for the launch are in progress and we believe the album will do well on the market just like our previous albums. We are pleased that ‘Twinini’, which is the sound of a ringing phone is doing the rounds,” said Mangezi.
He said they would continue working with a number of budding artistes in a bid to bring quality products and variety on the music scene.
Leprechaun said his fans should look forward to “The Inauguration” which would be launched by the end of this year.
“We have a couple of projects that we are working on together though some of them are yet to be titled. I am very grateful for the support I am getting from Xtra Large. We have a good working relationship and their vast experience will come in hand since I am still finding my feet in the music industry.
“Some of the songs on my album include ‘Zvakakwana’, ‘I Will See You’, ‘Siya Vakadaro’ and ‘Most Bhoo’. Furthermore, I am working on a DVD album,” he said.
Leprechaun said he would continue working with established musicians including Maskiri and Teererai.
