A 27-YEAR-OLD Bulawayo man allegedly jumped over a precast wall to rape his friend’s 14-year-old girlfriend.
The accused from Njube suburb, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the victim, violated the minor twice.
He has been remanded in custody to August 6, 2025, for trial by Western Commonage magistrate, Sibongile Marondedze.
According to principal prosecutor Milton Moyo, the incident occurred on 8 July 2025.
