More honours for Mighty Warriors

Women Cosafa tournament hosted by Zimbabwe.

The fundraising dinner becomes the latest honour for the Mighty Warriors after President Mugabe pledged to host a reception for the high flying girls.
Yesterday we had incorrectly reported that the President would host a banquet for the Mighty Warriors. The President will, in fact, host a reception in honour of the team.

Presidential spokesman and Secretary for Information and Publicity George Charamba yesterday confirmed VP Mujuru would host the dinner for the women’s soccer team on a date to be advised.

The Mighty Warriors have charmed the nation with their brand of football and an admirable fighting spirit.
