TESTIMONIES have continued to come from Bulawayo where many people have been assisted by renowned traditional healer, Gogo Chihoro, who meets clients in Bulawayo every Saturday.

Gogo Chihoro has gained international fame because of her supernatural powers to cure ailments, fix marriages, make businesses thrive, help people recover stolen property, and catch thieves, among other tasks. Her Saturday visits to Bulawayo started in November, and many clients have already expressed satisfaction.

Gogo Chihoro cleanses people to get rid of bad luck, uses traditional powers to bring back stolen property, and can bring back lost lovers. She also provides spiritual protection for clients at work, treats mentally challenged people, and uses supernatural powers to make businesses thrive. She can also treat sexually transmitted infections and other ailments.

A Bulawayo businessman said his mining business has expanded after he sought the services of Gogo Chihoro.

“I am a businessman in Bulawayo with multiple businesses but all of them had collapsed. I went to see Gogo on November 2 and booked a long session with her. I followed everything I was told. My businesses are now doing so well, even expanding. I got a mine concession last week. It’s been two years with my mine papers going back and forth at government offices. Thank you Gogo,” he said.

A Bulawayo woman said she was having a health problem with her menstrual cycle that has since been treated by Gogo Chihoro.

A cross-border trader said he now makes US$1000 per trip after consulting Gogo Chihoro.

“Ugogo ngumavula kuvaliwe. Mina ngikubonile. (Gogo opens closed doors. I have seen that.) I do butchery supplies ordering eMusina (South Africa). If I tell you lokhe ngageza ko Gogo Chihoro I don’t supply goods less a 1000 USD a trip (Ever since I got cleaned by Gogo Chihoro). My (housing) stand was on ground level, now sengifika kuroof (it is now at roof level). Gogo ngiyabonga (thank you).”

Another woman said Gogo Chihoro treated her husband for a mental illness, while another man said he got lucky charms to be elected into a powerful position in the community.

In an interview with B-Metro, Gogo Chihoro said many people were consulting her to recover stolen goods, and money and for success in business and marriages.

“A lot of people are now seeking my services to locate thieves. They have lost phones, cattle and even cars and they all want help finding the stolen goods and, more importantly, getting their money back. Surprisingly, even some police officers have started consulting me. They say they are stuck on certain cases and are hoping my charms might give them a lead on where to find the criminals,” said Gogo Chihoro.

She added: “Our mission as sangomas is to contribute to shaping a better society by ending crime. Unlike other sangomas who provide goblins, muthi and other divination tools, I use my abilities to track down thieves and apprehend them. Those I apprehend will never steal again. I just help those who need to be helped and not to harm anyone.”
