Pupils who struggle academically and fail frequently feel a variety of emotions, such as sadness, self-doubt, and frustration.
Students may experience depressing conditions as a result of the pressure to perform well academically and their fear of failing.
It is critical to understand that failure is a necessary component of learning and can offer priceless chances for improvement.
This week I am not going to be walking through anyone’s yard instead, I am here to offer my support to everyone taking their final semester exams.
Exams across specific universities are beginning on Monday throughout the whole week and I understand the busy schedules in advance of many students.
Like me being me, I usually tell those close to me that no one needs to fail at university.
When you spot yourself failing modules at college, it simply means you may be combating the demons of failure.
The matrix is simple, the moment you get into an exam, you already have half of a mark and it takes you to move from that mark to an average mark.
Everything I write here is based totally on what I see.
I have seen many college students pass and a few failing.
Most importantly, if you see yourself getting a PASS at university, it means you have not genuinely positioned any attempt within the work submitted and when you get a CREDIT, it means you positioned some attempt, and then a DISTINCTION suggests that the pupil has executed amazingly well. The effort became epic. Then eventually when a student fails, it indicates, they had been nowhere near the university nor did they even attend any lecture.
That indicates a lack of commitment, whatever degree you want to assign it.
It makes sense why I am always saying that the only boring students in college are those who are lazy or don’t take their studies seriously.
Thus, if you find yourself struggling in college, it’s clear that your demons are determined to bring you to ruin.
However, students need to understand that failure is a necessary step on the path to improvement rather than the end, especially when they are struggling with the demon of academic failure.
But, kids must understand that failure is a stepping stone toward growth rather than an end in itself when they confront the demons of academic failure.
Officials may encourage students to overcome academic hurdles and come out stronger from their experiences by building resilience, offering support systems, and encouraging a positive perspective surrounding failure.
Of course, every student aspires to succeed, but getting there can often be difficult and uncertain.
Every student should strive for academic excellence because it creates doors for social involvement, professional advancement, and personal development.
In the world of academia, success demands commitment, tenacity, and efficient study techniques.
Through goal-setting, networking, and maintaining focus, you may get over challenges and realize your full potential.
Recall to acknowledge and appreciate your accomplishments and maintain your flexibility; these attributes will enable you to advance and realize your goals.
Like I always say, the academic journey is not an easy one, it takes a lot of dedication and commitment.
You see many students graduating, it is either by grace, by fire, by force, or by determination.
Folks, when you see someone celebrating, celebrate with them because the journey of academics is not easy.
Some fight their demons, some fight situations, some fight poverty while some fight laziness and peer pressure for them to succeed academically.
One thing I know every student dreams of becoming the best one day while our parents have the same anticipation.
Most importantly, parents feel relieved when their children are succeeding.
While we see some of the students losing their way along the way, it gives their parents sleepless nights that their children have become the laughingstock of society.
Exams are there to be passed, don’t allow yourself to lose in this battle.
I just want to give a thumbs-up to all the students who have managed to come to this level.
It has not been an easy journey.
Some have dropped along the way, some have quit but let me say, the harder the chase, the sweeter the catch.
To my fellow students, the more effort and difficulty you put into achieving something, the greater the reward or satisfaction will be when you finally achieve it.
In many cases, students who pursue goals or objectives that are challenging to achieve are more likely to experience a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when they finally achieve them.
This is simply because the harder the chase, the more you have had to push yourselves and overcome obstacles to reach your goal.
But the people who train for a marathon will experience a greater sense of accomplishment and satisfaction after completing the race than someone who simply goes for a casual jog.
This is because the marathon runner has had to put in more effort and make a greater sacrifice of their time and energy to prepare for the race.
Fellow students, in the face of academic setbacks, you must develop effective coping strategies and seek support from friends.
Encouraging a growth mindset, wherein students view challenges as opportunities for learning and improvement, can help shift their perspective on failure.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
All the best to all of you who are writing exams, you can do your best.
Feel the air of success!
