October 9 marked a new era in the progress of Mother Touch Group of schools (MTGS).

The High school held a Speech and Prize Giving Day that was combined with the 2015- 2016 Prefects Board Inauguration and the launch of the Mother Touch Group of Schools Driving School. Students were awarded for excelling in the academic, arts, sports and culture sectors. A new prefects board was inaugurated.

The CEO, Mrs Salome Mutsinze, has widened our curriculum by introducing a driving school, one of the biggest achievements to celebrate. She gave a speech highlighting the importance of equipping oneself with the necessities of life hence the drive behind her introducing a driving school.

The headmaster, Mr R Mhlanga, gave a speech outlining the achievements of the school including excellent academic results for both O and A-Level Zimsec exams for 2014 with four subjects scoring 100 percent pass rates. The guest of honour, Mr Rufaro Hatendi, head of SME and Retail Banking: Banc ABC extended his appreciation for a good relationship.

The headboy and headgirl’s speeches outlined their achievements during their term of office 2014-2015, advice to students and the newly inaugurated board and their appreciation towards the school. Thanks to everyone who made the event a success.
