Motorists get many services at ZITF

MOTORISTS and the general public are receiving a variety of convenient services at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), which opened in Bulawayo yesterday.

The initiative aims to enhance accessibility, reduce paperwork and improve the overall experience for citizens.

The ZITF runs from April 21 to 26.

The services, being provided by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development, include instant driver’s licence printing, medical and retest endorsements, driver’s licence queries, electronic duplicate learner’s licences, licence confirmations, duplicate vehicle registration books, vehicle-related queries, and third number plate applications.

Ms Judith Nhau, the ministry’s communications and advocacy officer,reiterated the ministry’s commitment to industrialisation, economic growth and digital transformation, which are key pillars of this year’s ZITF theme.

Visitors to the ministry’s stand can expect several benefits, such as a comprehensive range of transport-related services under one roof.

Instant processing and document issuance will significantly reduce lead times.
