Mourinho thanks son

LONDON. — One of the constants for Chelsea this season has been Jose Mourinho’s 14-year-old-son, Jose Mario Jr., sitting behind his father at every match. On several occasions throughout the season, Mourinho went into the stands to celebrate a particularly big goal or win with his son — perhaps most notably during a match against Southampton in December when he described Jose Jr. as “a little assistant.” In his final matchday programme notes of the season, Mourinho included a special message to his son that not only shows how much he loves and appreciates his family, but how he thinks of Chelsea in similar terms. Ahead of facing Norwich, Mourinho wrote: “I know this space is to communicate with you fans, but one of you is my son. I want to tell him thanks for being with me every second of every match, a few metres behind me, jumping for every goal; hurt by every difficult moment.“ — Goal.com.
