Movement Riddim launched in Zvishavane

The much-awaited “Movement Riddim” produced by Verenga Empire Entrainment Studio was launched here last Friday. It was a night of partying as masses here danced the night away as several Zim dancehall artistes performed at the show.

Several artistes amongst them those from Zvishavane thrilled revellers at the gig which was held at YA FM’s Radio Park, but the focus was however on the visitors who thrilled fans taking advantage of their popularity. King Shaddy, Boom Berto, Lady Squanda, Ninja Lipsy and Ras Caleb left fans yearning for more when they gave spirited performances. Verenga Empire Entrainment Studio boss Farai Verenga said the event was not only launch the riddim but to give The Great Dyke artistes the platform to share the stage with seasoned performers.

“We are launching it (riddim) because these days there are more ways than ever before to share the music with the world and perfoming live is a great thing for any dancehall artiste.

“However, we took experienced dancehall artistes in Zimbabwe so that they can share the stage with the Great Dyke artistes who featured on this Movement Riddim. We want our Great Dyke artistes to always get the opportunity to perform with big artistes so that they showcase their talent,” said Farai. King Shaddy, Boom Berto, Lady Squanda, Ninja Lipsy, Dadza Dee, Ras Caleb, Chartsman, Faceless and Itana featured on the riddim which was produced by Davetone Touch.
