BULAWAYO Provincial Affairs Minister Nomthandazo Eunice Moyo will host an indaba at a city hotel tomorrow aimed at sharing notes on sport development in the province.

The indaba will be held in conjunction with the Sports and Recreation Commission (SRC).

“The meeting is to share issues of sport development in Bulawayo, its participation in sport development and platforms of sport development through grass root participation by our youths in the province,” said Bulawayo provincial sports coordinator Sam Dzvimbu in a statement.

He said their target was the Zimbabwe National Youth Games, with the specific target being Under-20 youths in a number of sporting codes, the Youth Education through Sport targeting the Under-15s as well as the Zimbabwe National Paralympic Games for people living with disability.

“The development of these youths will see them finding their career pathways in Premier Leagues, regional and international sports fora. It is important as Bulawayo that we come together to share the committee’s success stories in this endeavour,” said Dzvimbu.
