ZIMBABWE-born volleyball coach Nkosilathi Moyo has a tough assignment tomorrow as his Johannesburg Stickers which campaigns in the South African volley ball Under-19 Gauteng Volleyball Union Premier League have a must win game.
His team is at the bottom of the table.
Moyo’s team plays University of Johannesburg in Wits University at Hall 29, followed by a crucial grudge game against Pretoria University.
Moyo who hails from Nkayi in Matabeleland North coaches Troyeville Primary School and also teachers at the same school told Chronicle Sport that he was still in a celebratory mood after his school’s recent victory in which they collected three gold medals.
“It was a huge achievement but now the task ahead is to help the Stickers avoid relegation and believe me it is possible,” said Moyo.
He said he was looking forward to tomorrow’s games as they want those crucial points dearly. If they lose tomorrow it’s going to be a challenge for them to maintain their league status.
The league ends on October 4.
“My major mission is to beat Tuks and move almost to mid table so that we maintain our premier league status,” said Moyo who said his mission was different from other coaches as his focus was on grooming his school’s Under-13 side for national games that will run December 10 to 15.
