ZIMBABWEAN attacking Midfielder Daniel Msendami has said that there is still an insurmountable task for his Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy FC to seal qualification to the CAF Champions League group stages after a 1-0 first leg win against South African giants Orlando Pirates at home.

They will face Pirates this weekend at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto, South Africa, knowing that a victory will automatically earn them a berth in the Premier African Continental tournament exciting group stages.

The former Bosso star said that there is still a long way to go and also spoke of how much their opponents’ recent form has the potential of working to his team’s disadvantage.

“Everyone in Africa knows of Orlando Pirates and their famous Orlando Stadium.

“They will try by all means to make things difficult for us, especially knowing what is at stake for winning the tie

.

“They have top African players from foreign countries and from their country as well.

“We are well aware of their recent form but that does not give us the permission to relax and take anything lightly because they are probably thinking that the game against us is the one which they will use to turn their  confidence around and make their fans happy.

But as for us also, we know what is at stake.

“We have not come this far to just go down without a fight. I believe in our team and we have a chance,” said Msendami.

He scored the decisive goal for his side in the first leg after connecting a cross to slot the ball past Orlando Pirates’ Ghanaian International goalkeeper Richard Ofori at Gaborone’s National Stadium last week.

He will also hope that his fellow countrymen and teammates at Jwaneng, Nqobizitha Masuku and Cleopas Dube have fine performances just like in the first leg and help the team qualify for the CAF Champions League group stages.
